Knypersley Reservoir

An absolute beast of a water, at approximately thirty eight acres this magical piece of water is set in the glorious greenway bank country park, the scenery and wildlife to be found here is stunning.

The water can be daunting to the average angler and is certainly a very different proposition to Black Lake but well worth a visit. Primarily a traditional bream water with incredible shoals to be attacked on feeder tactics, pellets and method feeder are the way to go but a traditional groundbait feeder will still produce the goods, fish from small skimmers to specimen size can be landed here.

Roach and perch will readily accept loose fed maggots around a float rig in the margins, large pike and incredibly large carp are known to reside in this huge water but location is extremely difficult and only the most dedicated specimen hunters will succeed.
