Caldon Canal

Another recent addition to our impressive portfolio of waters the Caldon somehow doesn’t have the same reputation as the Trent and Mersey but make no mistake quality fish of all species are present in this wonderfully diverse stretch.

The built up area of Stockton Brook contains some impressive roach and chub stocks, this then gives way to some beautiful countryside scenery down to the basin at Endon.

The basin is a short walk from the nearest parking areas and fantastic fishing is to be had with huge nets of roach, rudd, bream and hybrids possible.

Pike and perch are present throughout the stretch and as with the Trent and Mersey large carp can be located and landed for those willing to explore.
