Consall pools and River Churnet
Opening day at Consall
Our two new waters are ready to go for the new season, the pools at Consall were fished very briefly before the lockdown so it really is a new season for both the pools and the beautiful River Churnet, both waters are available to members from June 16th.
Members must carry the additional Consall permit when fishing at the pools and the rules must be strictly adhered to at all times, We now have an overspill car park below our existing car park, both are signed and should be sufficient as long as cars are parked sensibly and considerately. under no circumstances are we to park on the roadside.
Parking for the Churnet is next to the sluice station before the black Lion car park, the car park will accomodate six sensibly parked cars, we do not have access to the Black Lion car park. Wading is not permitted in the weirpool or canal overflow areas.
Members are reminded of the additional rules for Heron and Lawn pools, anyone found to be in breach of these rules will be asked to leave the site and will be subject to disciplinary action and possible expulsion from the society.
